The Mastercard Situation

Canoeing up the C54 Canal = Hard work

Climbing up a cell-tower to see Palm Bay and Vero ablaze = Dexterity + shitty eyesight

Seeing Tony's face when he couldn't attack those people at the Winnebago = Priceless

Bike's Ahoy!

  1. we made it alive to Weber rd after climbing up embankment we where shot at by the Weber street militia .we promptly gave up and explained our SITUATION.they figured we where 2 legit to quit so they escorted us to the Ramos family farm where we found out Andy's wife left before the SITUATION happened.
dumbfounded we decided to grab a couple of horses and move north west to tonys family neighborhood.mid coitus we where attacked in the dark by a pair Florida panthers pouncing on tony and troy.Ttroy was bit in the calf.i go the nerve to charge the big cat with the old nag I was riding and knocked troy to the ground.the cat sprung to life and bolted for the tree line seeing we where not the easy target he thought we would be.
i dismounted and will help troy with bandaging. He will ride passenger on the horse as we ride up 95 past Malabar on our way to the drainage ditch that runs down Narraganset street in lock mar.if every one is cool with that.

  2. I'm down with ditch travel. I know Dave had a bag full of medical stuffs. We should also spray each other with the bottle of endangered animal deterrent.

  3. After DJ treats my wounds I'll take a large dose of ibuprofen from the medical kit. After that I'll check on my gear and collect and reorganize it. Then I'll check on my bike and make sure it is still operational. Once that is done I'll double check my bandages and apply an antibacterial cream to the wounds (or the hand sanitizer I found if there is nothing else). At this point I would address the group. "Well guys I really need to head north. My family has been alone for two days already and I can't wait any longer to get to them. I will not ask or allow you all to come with me as your families will need you just as much as mine needs me. I'd imagine it will take me the better part of the day to get home (if the bike is working if not I would say it would take 2-3 days of walking) so I need to get moving. I need to make sure they're safe. We'll stay hunkered down at home if things aren't too bad but if it gets dicey we'll head west of 95 to the Bull Creek area. If you head that way or to my home look us up." With that I get on my bike (or being walking) and head toward my home.

  4. After Troy's speech, I say isn't it better to travel in groups now rather than splitting up and arranging to possibly meet later? We're all geeks who've played D&D for years, and one thing I've learned is you never split the party. Even if it takes extra time, we should visit each family in order.i promise to stay with you guys after we visit mine, and possibly take them with us.

  5. I turn back to Tony as I continue to move away and say "I know this is most likely not the safest decision for me personally but I have been thinking about it since we started our trip back. My house will be the last stop, which is logical because it is the furthest away. It's taken two days and we've only made one stop. I can't delay my return home and I would never ask you to go to my house first, like I said before your families need you as much as mine needs me. I know that splitting up isn't the safest strategy but what if my family needs me now or if they will need me before I get there making all of the other stops along the way. I can't take the chance. I've got to go and it has to be now. Good luck guys. I hope your falilies are ok." With that I continue to head north. As I continue I turn back and say loud enough for everyone to hear "if you all decide to move with your families you're welcome to come and get AMPED!"

  6. I ride after Troy on the horse which is packed down with both of our gear and tell him that I will ride with him until I have to turn off to check on Anneliese. She was at work in the middle of Palm Bay when this went down. Depending on what I discover at her work I will either have to head home to my house or do some investigation at her work as to where she went to. I say if we have to spread out and go our own ways we should pick a location now to meet up in a few days time like Camp Holly. In 3 days from now. If you get there first and have to leave leave us a sign or message as to where you are going.

  7. i yell out to dave and troy "heah if we grab tonys family quick we can drop them off at my place on the way to your home troy.my neighborhood has several bow hunters, horses and medical specialists and its on the way to your place.tony's kids are in the heart of evil palm bay but still in a easy evacuation route being on the ditch line.with tonys kids mounted on horse back we can make to my place in a hour.then get reinforcements at my place and move further into the city down henry ave.then down dairy to your place.get your family and move to my neighborhood where there are supplies and like minded folk."

we should stand together so if there is law enforcement involved or revenge squads,we can take care of business.

after the families are safe we can hunt down Andy's wife.

time is still on our side....for now.

  8. While riding next to Troy I mirror Dj's statement and try to explain to Troy that we have been very fortunate this far that the lawlessness hasn't gotten too bad. Depending how long this situation lasts it's only going to get worse before it gets any better. We have safety in numbers and I say we make haste to Tony's family asap then drop them off at DJ's house like he said then make a quick jaunt over to your house Troy. With all haste we can be at your house by nightfall and stay together. I know you are worried for your family but you will do them no good if you succumb to your wounds or worse get rolled for your bike and gear before you get to them.
