I came across White's comment and thought it should be brought to the forefront.

I do feel the same way however I am a bit afraid of mob justice myself as well as going to jail. I would be on board for a super secret stealth mission through the woods to put eyes on the sheriff. Make sure he is alright.
Just a heads up the EMT station where you last saw the deputy Deputy is now about 1-1&1/2 hours away from you by foot. A bit less by boat but you will be paddling up stream to get back there. being that you all wanted to get back to your families ASAP I thought you wouldn't want to expend the extra time, energy, and resources working your way back to the EMT station. If you do want to we can head back to the station but we will basically be going back to the area that was the starting point from the last time we played.
